There are some limitations on boats and docks on the waterfront. This includes the depth of the water and any bridges one may need to pass under in order to have ocean access. One of the advantages of our area is that we have a Boston to New York train line that goes right along the coastline. One of the disadvantages of this is that many coves and rivers must go under the tracks to have access to the ocean.
