Founded in St. Augustine in 2017 by the owner-operator of the business, who operated as a barber in one of the five chairs in the shop while renting out the additional four chairs to other independent contractors/barbers. The first year in business, the owner netted over $10,000 in just over two months of operation. Sales grew steadily in 2018, 2019 and held steady in the COVID year of 2020. The business is being sold as an opportunity for an owner/operating barber to own and work in the shop, and rent the other four spaces to additional barbers as independent contractors. Currently the chairs rent for $180 per week, $1,440 per month. Currently the contracting barbers pay a chair rent, but no commission to the owner.
