CIMLS recognizes that privacy is important. This policy applies to all of the services offered by CIMLS. If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact us through our contact form.
Many CIMLS services require an account to access. When signing up for an account through CIMLS we ask for personal information such as your email, a password, your name, and other fields. This information is stored on our server and is only used by CIMLS.
For certain services, such as our gold membership, we also request credit card or other payment account information which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers. When paying for CIMLS services we may send your information to our payment gateway provider, but only for the sole purpose of posting a charge for payment.
When you post a property listing on CIMLS it becomes the property of CIMLS and may be edited for publication on our site or other sites. This is so we can provide this information to other users and help promote your listings. You may update or remove your listings at any time on the CIMLS website, but these listings may still exist in other publications we have sent out such as newsletters.
When you use CIMLS services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
If you choose to make an account you may be contacted by a contact form from other CIMLS users. This allows members to contact you with inquirys about your property listings or your services. When you send email or other communication to CIMLS support or other members, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, monitor abuse and improve our services. CIMLS may also send emails relating to commercial real estate and services we provide. If you would like to opt out of all emails regarding CIMLS services you may do so here.
CIMLS may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our services.
Choices for personal information
You can decline to submit personal information to CIMLS by not creating an account. Please be aware that some services will not be available to users without accounts. Accessing and updating personal information. You may update your account information at any time by logging into CIMLS. You may also edit your property listings by logging in. When asking support to update information for you we may ask for you to identify yourself in order to perform such requests. You may cancel your basic membership or gold membership at any time by contacting us.
