THIS IS AN ACTIVE SAND/GRAVEL/ROCK/STONE QUARRY. The reserves are extensive. Access to highways and seaports are all within a reasonable travel time. The off shore wind fields will be in need of millions of tons of granite - like what we have in the quarry. The quarry was opened in the 1930's and has been in operation ever since opening. Permit for operations is in-hand. We are opening extra truck access points as soon as possible. The property has a private water supply of up to 5000 gallons per day and there is town water available at the road accesses of four different locations which lead into the property. The material is Bulgarmarsh Granite, Fall River Granite, Ledge, Erratics, Melt out at terminal Moraine, River rock and stone, sand & gravel, road base, stone dust etc... Buyer to complete their own soils surveys and engineering survey for bedrock types. Forested area of the site is approximately 65 acres and includes Oak, Walnut (Black and white), Cedar, Birch, Beech. The amount of lumber is in the hundreds of thousands of board feet currently standing.
