The Dunkirk Dairy Dream has been locally owned and operated since 1954. Located on heavily traveled US Route 68, it provides a large assortment of fried foods and ice cream treats for locals, as well as travelers passing through. In 2019, the business was purchased by a husband/wife team, who have re-invested nearly all of the profits to allow for major functional and cosmetic upgrades, the bulk of which were required by the Kenton/Hardin Health Department. The business is fully up to date, meeting all health department codes, and is a turn-key operation. While other businesses suffered during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Dunkirk Dairy Dream continued to thrive. 2021 brought forth a new challenge, as the husband unexpectedly passed away and the wife was left to manage and operate the business without her partner. She has continued to do so, but has lost her passion for the business and has opted to sell.
