The building was constructed by C. W. Roberts as a milk processing and pasteurizing plant. Consequently the building had to be built strong structurally. It is basically an all steel, concrete structure. The only wood is in the office partition walls which are not load bearing and could be removed. The roof is also a concrete slab. On the first floor the building has 6 offices, a lobby, conference room and two rest rooms. The second floor has 8 offices and a large center room and two rest rooms and a storage room. The lot goes back to Monroe Street and is fenced in with a wide gate for vehicles to enter. There is a concrete block workshop in the back lot, also.
