The 212 Market Restaurant pioneered the downtown Chattanooga renaissance when it opened in 1992 and operated successfully for a quarter century in the same location. The Moses sisters engaged 1 of the region's most respected and creative architects to design the building and only recently decided to close 212 and create this opportunity for the next restaurant experience in this prime location. The restaurant occupies 6,208 sq-ft of indoor space and an additional 404 square ft patio located on the 2nd floor. Forbes Magazine in it's November 13, 2013 issue describes the physical location as follows: " The downtown eatery paints a picture of coziness with it's cottage-wooden tables, modest floral arrangements and warm service. The kitchen's cool, sustainable design takes on bison ribeye, trout and grass-fed burgers make the place downright irresistible". Obviously a new establishment will have a new take on menu items and atmosphere but the groundwork is already in place in a proven location.<br />
